Coopers Bar-B-Que is a regular stop for my wife and I when we come through Junction. It is easy to choose your meal, just follow your nose and taste buds. The beef brisket, pulled pork, sausage, turkey and chicken as well as the sides all are excellent. If you have big appetite, do the dinner plate which includes two sides. If you are not up for big meal, choose one of thier sandwiches. They have scrumptious blackberry cobbler for dessert. The sweet tea and lemonade are made strong to stand up to ice so fill your cup full of ice before decanting these drinks. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. There is ample dining room inside and outside under a huge live oak tree that shades a picnic area. The smoke masters smoke the Bar-B-Que in the on-site pits.

I just had the sliced brisket sandwich. Was traveling so I didn't have a lot of time and the service was fairly quick. The brisket was pretty dry... the sauce came in handy, the flavor was kind of off though. In all fairness, that's the only item on the menu I ordered, so it could have been a one-off...
Best BBQ food Iβve ever had. Also, easy parking for semi trucks behind the chevron. The brisket, Ribs, and jalapeΓ±o cheese sausage. The potato salad, the beans, the green Beans, and Mac n cheese are all great.
I was just passing through on my way to California. I stopped for gas and saw Cooper's across the street. I took a chance and got the brisket and turkey breast sandwich. I was surprised by the portion size and the flavor was amazing!!! Smoked to perfection it was delicious!!! Junction Texas is now my dedicated stop now thanks to Cooper's!!!!
We came pretty close to closing (about 8:30pm) and they were super accommodating and had lots of brisket left. The food was great and coleslaw was fresh - prices seemed pretty normal and affordable as well! Everyone was friendly and nice, but I know they were pretty tired since it was the ending of the day! The vibes were really nice and gave off a western/country/rustic feel!
